Online Weight Control

This component of the Healthy Adults Program begins with calculating your Body Mass Index (BMI) to establish a reference point. Your BMI is an approximate measure of body fat. It is based on your weight and height. We all need a certain amount of body fat, but too much or too little is not good.

Other components of the Healthy Adults Online Weight Control program include a Daily Calorie Diary, Physical Activity Guidelines, and Tips for Better Eating.
Members will establish their health profiles consisting of birthdate; sex; levels of physical and social activity; and tobacco, alcohol and drug use patterns.

Results are available to registered users online in table and graph formats using individual passwords to ensure privacy.  This program enables registered users to cooperate more closely with their family doctors in controlling their weight.
